Setup Guide
Raspberry Pi MicroSD Setup
Get your Raspberry Pi up and running in minutes with your pre-made Beamo MicroSD card.
What You'll Need
Beamo 64GB Premade MicroSD Card
Your Beamo card comes pre-loaded with the operating system and ready to use — no flashing or imaging required.
Compatible Raspberry Pi
Any Raspberry Pi from Gen 3 onward, the Zero 2 W, or a Compute Module (CM) board.
Setup Guide
Insert the MicroSD card
With the Raspberry Pi switched off, slide your Beamo 64GB MicroSD card into the card slot on the underside of the board, with the metal contacts facing the board. It's already loaded with the operating system, so there's nothing to download or flash.
Connect everything and power on
Plug your Raspberry Pi into a monitor (using the HDMI port), then connect a keyboard and mouse. Connect the power supply last to switch it on. The very first startup can take a couple of minutes while the system gets ready — a blank or flickering screen during this time is normal.
Complete the on-screen setup
A short setup wizard appears and walks you through choosing your language, time zone, Wi-Fi network, and a password. When it finishes, your Raspberry Pi is ready to use.
