Beamo Wipe
A guided bootable USB that walks you through erasing a disk you own. You pay for the prepared stick and the guide — not a secret wipe algorithm.
What Beamo Wipe is
Beamo Wipe is Beamo’s guided front-end for nwipe, shipped as a ready-to-boot USB.
You start the computer from the USB. The wizard is the first screen. There is no desktop and no raw nwipe terminal. You confirm you own the machine or have written permission, pick a disk by name, size, and serial, type a confirmation, wait five seconds, then nwipe runs.
The Beamo USB cannot be selected. If Beamo Wipe cannot tell which disk is the boot USB, it lists no disks to erase.
It is for owner-operated sanitization before recycle or resale. It is not a lab certificate, not a Blancco replacement, and not a claim that every SSD controller will make data unrecoverable.

How it works
Nothing starts until you say so. The live USB uses the same steps as these demos.

Start from the USB
Plug in the prepared stick, open the computer’s one-time boot menu, and choose the USB. This is not a Windows or macOS app.

Confirm ownership
Acknowledge that you own the computer and disks, or that you have written permission to erase them.

Pick the disk
Match the model, size, and serial or hardware ID. The Beamo USB stays protected and cannot be erased.

Type to confirm
Type the characters shown for that disk. If a name is unclear, stop and contact support with a photo.

Choose a method and review
Everyday, three overwrites, or quick zero. A five-second countdown only enables Erase. It never starts erasure by itself.

Leave it running
Keep the USB in and keep wall power connected until the result screen. Then shut down and remove the USB.
Stops built into the guide
The product is the guide and the safety gates, not a hidden algorithm.
Protected boot USB
The Beamo USB cannot be selected. If it cannot be identified, no erase targets are listed.
Ownership checkbox
You must acknowledge ownership or written permission before disks can be chosen.
Type-to-confirm
You type a token taken from the selected disk’s identity. A wrong disk is harder to confirm by accident.
Five-second review
Reaching zero only enables Erase. It never starts nwipe on its own.
Check disks again
Refreshing the list clears the selected disk and every prior confirmation. You complete the whole flow again.
Stop is not undo
You can request a stop while an erase is running. Stopping cannot restore files already overwritten.
What it is not
Plain limits, so the page does not overclaim.
- Not for Apple Silicon Macs, Chromebooks, Android, or RAID controllers.
- Not a wipe from inside Windows or macOS. The PC must boot this USB.
- Not DoD, NSA, or NIST certified. Not a Blancco replacement.
- Not a new wipe engine. The only eraser is nwipe v0.42.
- Not a promise that SSD controllers expose every remnant. Overwrite is not a formal certificate.
- Not a free download for people who did not buy a genuine Beamo product that includes Beamo Wipe.
Who may use Beamo Wipe
Beamo Wipe is proprietary Beamo software. A license to use it is granted only when you buy a genuine Beamo product that includes Beamo Wipe.
You may not copy, redistribute, rebrand, or run Beamo Wipe as a service for others unless you purchased that product. Beamo’s name, packaging, and prepared USB are Beamo LLC’s. Third-party programs on the media, including nwipe, keep their own licenses. The full agreement is the controlling legal text.

- Do I install an app?
- No. Beamo Wipe is prepared bootable media. You start the computer from the USB. Do not look for a wipe program inside Windows or macOS.
- Can it erase the Beamo USB?
- No. The boot USB is protected and cannot be selected. If Beamo Wipe cannot identify it, it lists no disks.
- Does it work on a Mac?
- Not on Apple Silicon. It is for compatible x64 PCs. Intel Mac USB boot is best-effort only; contact support with the model first. Do not change security settings to follow this site.
- Is it certified?
- No. It is owner-operated sanitization, not a lab certificate, not DoD/NSA/NIST certified, and not a Blancco replacement.
- Can I use it if I did not buy Beamo?
- No. The product license is granted only with a genuine Beamo Wipe USB or another authorized Beamo product that includes Beamo Wipe.
- What if I am not sure which disk it is?
- Stop. Do not guess. The guide includes identification help. Email or text support with the product name, computer model, and a photo of the screen.
