Raspberry Pi Case Guide
Step-by-step instructions for assembling your Raspberry Pi 5 Dual Fan Case.
Stick on the blue thermal pads
Peel the clear film from BOTH sides of each blue thermal pad. Place each pad onto the matching chip on your Raspberry Pi 5 — match them up by size — and press down firmly so each one makes full contact. These pads carry heat away from the chips, so good contact matters.
Set the top plate in place
Lower the metal top plate over the Raspberry Pi and press it down onto the blue pads. Check that it sits flat and touches every pad evenly before moving on.
Plug in the fan cable
Find the small fan connector on the Raspberry Pi 5, near the USB ports, and plug the fan cable into it. The connector only fits one way, so line it up and push gently until it clicks — don't force it.
Screw the fans to the top plate
Using the included screws and hex key, fasten the dual fans to the top plate. Tighten each screw until it's snug, but stop there — over-tightening can crack the plate.
Fit the board into the bottom plate
Lower your Raspberry Pi into the bottom plate, lining the board up with the mounting holes. Make sure every port (USB, HDMI, and power) lines up with its opening in the case.
Screw it all together
Drop the final screws in from the top so they pass through the top plate and board into the bottom plate, then tighten them with the hex key. That's it — your Raspberry Pi 5 Dual Fan Case is fully assembled.
