Beamo Flasher
A guided desktop app that writes OS images to SD cards and USB drives — and verifies every byte, so a bad card never ships.
Available for macOS and Windows. Free to use, no account required.
What Beamo Flasher does
Everything you need to turn a blank SD card or USB drive into a ready-to-boot device — reliably, and at scale.
Guided flashing wizard
Pick an image, confirm the drive, and watch it go. A step-by-step wizard keeps you from ever writing to the wrong disk.
Byte-for-byte verification
Every write is verified after it finishes, so a corrupted card never makes it out the door.
Batch provisioning
Flash whole stacks of SD cards or USB drives in a single run — perfect for setting up many devices at once.
Card-health tracking
Beamo Flasher learns which cards keep failing and quietly sets them aside before they cause problems.
Adapts to your hardware
Write speed automatically ramps up or eases off to match your machine and your drives.
Bring your own image
Write managed Raspberry Pi OS or any custom .img / .iso you already have. Free to use, no account needed.
Installing Beamo Flasher
Beamo Flasher isn't code-signed yet, so your system shows a one-time prompt the first time you open it. Here's how to get past it.
On macOS
- 1Open the downloaded Beamo-Flasher-macOS.dmg and drag Beamo Flasher into your Applications folder.
- 2The first time you open it, right-click (or Control-click) the app and choose Open — then confirm. This is only needed once.
- 3Insert your SD card or USB drive, pick an image, confirm the target, and start flashing.
On Windows
- 1Unzip the downloaded Beamo-Flasher-Windows.zip to a folder of your choice.
- 2Open the folder and run “Beamo Flasher.exe”. If Windows SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway, then approve the admin prompt (needed to write to drives).
- 3Insert your SD card or USB drive, pick an image, confirm the target, and start flashing.
