Flash common raw images directly, including .iso, .img, .raw, .dd, and .wic, or safely stream .xz, .gz, .bz2, .zip, .tar, .tgz, and .tbz2 archives. Raspberry Pi OS remains a managed preset.
Installing Beamo Flasher
The macOS and Windows builds aren't store-signed yet, so your system may show a one-time prompt the first time you open them.
On macOS
- 1Open the downloaded Beamo-Flasher-macOS.pkg and follow the installer prompts.
- 2The first time you open it, right-click (or Control-click) the app and choose Open — then confirm. This is only needed once.
- 3Insert your SD card or USB drive, pick an image, confirm the target, and start flashing.
On Windows
- 1Open the downloaded Beamo-Flasher-Windows.exe and follow the installer prompts.
- 2If Windows SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway, then approve the admin prompt (needed to write to drives).
- 3Insert your SD card or USB drive, pick an image, confirm the target, and start flashing.
On Linux
- 1Make the downloaded AppImage executable (for example: chmod +x Beamo-Flasher-Linux.AppImage).
- 2Open the AppImage. Your desktop may ask you to approve administrator access when a flash begins.
- 3Insert your SD card or USB drive, pick an image, confirm the target, and start flashing.
