Prerequisites
Beamo Bootable USB Drive
Your pre-configured Beamo bootable USB flash drive
đģ Windows Instructions
Prepare Your Computer
Make sure your computer is turned off, then plug in the USB flash drive
Ensure the USB drive is firmly connected to an available USB port.
Access Boot Menu
Turn your computer on and immediately press the boot menu key for your computer manufacturer.
Common Boot Menu Keys:
- Dell: F12
- HP: F9
- Lenovo: F12
- ASUS: F8
- Acer: F12
If the first attempt doesn't work, restart your computer and try again. You may need to press the key repeatedly during startup.
Complete Boot Process
Follow any further instructions, and if an option is presented, select UEFI boot rather than legacy boot. Proceed to follow any further directions on screen.

Prepare Your Computer
Make sure your computer is turned off, then plug in the USB flash drive
Ensure the USB drive is firmly connected to an available USB port.
Access Boot Menu
Turn your computer on, then spam your computer manufacturer's boot key, most likely F11 or F12
- For Mac computers, press and hold the Option (Alt) key immediately after turning on your Mac
Select Boot Drive
When the Startup Manager appears, you'll see available boot drives:
- Use arrow keys to select your Beamo USB drive (usually appears as "EFI Boot" or similar)
- Press Return/Enter to boot from the selected drive
- For Apple Silicon Macs (M1/M2/M3/M4), you may need to first click the gear icon and select "Security Policy" to allow booting from external media
